The hydraulic motor serves as the primary rotational drive unit within the spinner assembly. Each spinner system utilizes four hydraulic motors, with one motor dedicated to each spinner drive roller.

The motor converts hydraulic pressure and flow into rotational output, which directly drives the spinner roller to engage and spin the drilling motor or tool body during make-up or break-out operations.
